Privacy Policy

This policy covers fuhrerbev.com, run by Fuhrer Beverage Company, 3100 E. Carson St., Pittsburgh, PA 15203. It says what the site collects, what we do with it and what you can ask us to do.

What you send us

Most of this site is reading. The one form is the reply form under blog posts. If you use it we receive what you type (your name, email address, website and comment) along with the time, the page you were on and your IP address, which helps us filter out spam. Replies are not published on the site. They come to our staff by email so we can answer you. We do not sell this information or share it outside the company and the service providers below.

If you tick "Save my name, email, and website", those three fields are kept in your own browser's local storage so the form is filled in next time. They stay on your device. Untick the box and submit, or clear your browser data, to remove them.

What is collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to see how people find and use the site: pages visited, approximate location, device type and how you arrived. It uses cookies. We never send it names, phone numbers or email addresses.

Outside services on some pages

• accessiBe provides the accessibility button on every page. It loads from accessiBe's servers and remembers your display settings if you change them.
• YouTube serves the two videos on the Join Our Team page. YouTube may set cookies when a video loads or plays.
• VIP BrandBuilder (VTInfo) serves the product catalog on the Products page.
• Paycom runs our job listings. The "View Our Open Positions" button takes you to Paycom's site, where its own privacy policy applies.

Who handles the data

• Cloudflare hosts the site, stores reply-form submissions and sends our notification emails.
• Google provides analytics.

Each processes data for us under its own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Form submissions are kept as long as we need them to answer you and keep a record. Analytics data is kept according to Google's settings for our account, usually 14 months.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email inquire@fuhrerbev.com or call (412) 488-8844. You can also block cookies in your browser; the site still works.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
